Women's Weightlifting Courses in Corsham
Have you always wanted to learn how to lift weights but you've been put off by it being a male dominated activity? Or, are you currently lifting weights but want to access coaching that will help you to improve your ability and efficiency under the bar?
These courses are designed with this in mind, specifically for women like you. Over two weekends you will learn how to lift weights safely and confidently in a friendly, female only environment.
All of the courses are delivered in a private gym where the space is reserved exclusively for you so that you can practice and become confident with your lifting without the need to feel concerned or self conscious about onlookers. Equally, to guarantee that you have ample access to Coaching resources and time, places are limited to 6 learners per course. Advance booking is essential.

Workshop 1 - An Introduction to Weightlifting
2pm - 4pm Sunday 22nd & Sunday 29th November 2015
The course, held in Corsham over two consecutive weekends, will focus on learning the correct technique and becoming accustomed to using a barbell for all variations of the basic lifts: Back squat, Front Squat and Deadlift.
£60.00 per person. Suitable for beginners and those with experience alike.
Workshop 2 - Advanced Lifting Technique
Coming February 2016
For women with previous experience of lifting who wish to access individualised coaching to help improve their technique. Focus is upon assessing and identifying methods of increasing load safely and learning all variations of the Front Squat, the Clean and the Clean & Jerk.
Workshop 3 - An Introduction to Olympic Lifting
For experienced lifters who are ready to start their journey into Olympic Lifting. This course focuses upon learning the correct techniques to master the Overhead Squat and the Snatch.
